Mix the 1st 8 Cook the garlic & ginger in the oil until just brown. Add the rest of the mix. It will become v dry. Add water a little at a time, stirring to combine. Bring to the boil, then reduce to desired consistency. Slather over chips.
Hi Ste, most chippies over here on the 'Motherland' serve up a curry sauce made from packet 'Maykway' curry sauce powder, where you just add boiling water ! It's quite a sweet/mild sauce and sometimes has the odd raisin floating in it.. I would ask the chip shop owner what brand he's been using and if he has any stock left over to sell you - a little goes a long way.
