Talsa Sausage Fillers

Postby trotters independant » Fri Jan 26, 2007 12:14 pm

Hi

Please can anybody give me there personal views of TALSA sausage fillers. Any problems encountered, are they reliable? as I am looking to purchase a new one but always like to ask others opinions first.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :D

I don't remember what's in our (work) kitchen, but it's been a PITA. It's difficult to break down & clean, the rubber gasket is all but impossible to remove; thus, it's been replaced twice in the last year.

Off to work in a bit so I'll check it out and post back.

Have gone for a Mainca in the end, seem to have a much better warranty with them and have heard very good reports about the machines.

This is a picture of the chappy below, very happy with my purchase!!

Congrats on your acquisition!

You certainly can go for one on my recommendation!! have been using it well over 2 years now and am very happy with it. The only thing I would change about my decision 2 years ago would have been to purchase the larger capacity model, but it is not really a problem, it just means it has to be filled sooner each occasion, so bear that in mind when you buy yours.

I have the contact details for the company I purchased mine from if you require them, they were very helpful.

Hi,

I have been using a Talsa chopper for the last couple of years along with a Handtman filler. Both have proven to be very efficient.
The Handtman filler is highly recommended.
