Thanks Jim, I was meaning taste wise really...you said it was lovely but was that the beer flavour coming through?

Didnt taste quite like drinking a beer but distinctly different from ant other ham or chop ive tasted.
Flavour was more intense in the chop .Ill do a piece of leg and I would imagine you would get some rather nice gammon rashers.

came across some Hakeshead Brodies Pride so had to buy some after Phils post.Would do the jod as well as the Grasmoor and better than the Theakestons.Will keep my eye open for the Nethergate,
