All Purpose Curing Salt

Postby carllancaster » Thu Nov 12, 2009 5:46 pm

Hi all

Is this stuff ok for a brine?

It says contains cure 2, which is for uncooked foods (like salami) but I'm doing a ham, will it be ok?

I used it last yer and it was fine....but now I'm having doubts....

Thanks in advance....

It should be fine, but we're still not entirely sure what is in it. I will ask.

Curing is not an exact science... So it's not a sin to bin.

Great hams, from little acorns grow...
