Hello, does anybody on here have one, they are very expensive! I have seen some on ebay from the Ukraine, electric or a hand crank one. The electric one is cheaper much to my suprise :o Just wondered if anyone has any experience of these.I am about to embark on a cheesemaking period, while my storage room is nice and cool. :D

I personally wouldn't buy one of the new ones off eBay, I've heard too many complaints. Cheap plastic parts that break, parts not readily available, etc.

I would look for an older De Leval or the like.

Thanks, I wasn't sure about them, I watched a video on you tube and they looked OK, but the parts bit was a bit worrying, also lot's of washing up afterwards required. I think I will carry on skimming manually , it's a much cheaper option :(
