I planted my little garden too

Producing herbs, spices and vegetable matter

Many thanks. As somebody who, not only has a very small garden, but would be incapable of looking after a large area of land, I find it interesting to read about your experiences. I know more than I should from my limited practical experience, which I put down to spending hours as a child/youth with my grand-dad (a superb gardener) on his allotment. This at least allows me to 'keep up' with the talk in pub when it turns to gardening.

Please keep us posted as to how it all turns out.

Ah, cute!

I've got some herbs and the like and grow peas in a tub for the pea shoots - I just use dried peas from a packet that you'd buy for cooking - they're a lot cheaper than buying a packet of seeds.

Sprouting seeds is a great thing to do with the kids.
