I bought a full brisket from Costco and it weighed about 14 pounds. I trimmed away 2.5 pounds and split it in half. I'll smoke the point later this Spring. This is the flat I cured.

Also, cabbage is marked down to $ 0.25 / # so I'll start some sauerkraut this weekend. :D
