OK people I MAY be getting a trial sample of some plum dust, which may be suitable for a csg !
Going to do cheese and cured bacon.

Suggestions what to smoke with it , (not marmite ! )?

Hi Dave, forgive my ignorance but do you mean saw dust made from wood of the plum (prunus) tree ? For a moment I was visualising dried plums ground down to a fine powder This afternoon I'm trimming back a Greengage tree in the garden and was thinking of putting some of it through the compost shredder (after removing the bark) and drying the chips out for smoking. Let me know what difference the smoke gives to the flavour.

I chopped down a plum tree and it's a nice wood to smoke with, a bit like Apple
