Some 5yrs ago I purchased (whilst in Canada) a brine injector that looked like it would do the job, one use later & washing it, the acrylic snapped, (still have the needle part stored away) ...so best priced quality injector on the market advice please, it is really hindering me.

How I wish someone in the UK would stock these:

http://www.butcher-packer.com/index.php ... ucts_id=25

I have one of these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001 ... 1317316462

It's the best I've found, so far, in the UK, but is still not the best.

Beware of injectors with really fine thread on the tube, it damages easily due to it being manufactured now in China. USA made injectors, if they are still available, are still the best and long lasting.
Personally I have a large Spitjack Magnum and a bunch of cheap plastic injectors. The Spitjack will outlast my grandkids and the plastic injectors can be tossed every couple of years without breaking the bank.
My two bobs worth!!

You can make a large capacity tank type using a soda syrup tank, a needle manifold and you'll need an air compressor to charge the syrup tank.
Here's a link to one they sell:

I've used the stainless needle type for years, not sure where I got it, but the link for butcher packer shows that one, the Dick will be a good unit, but all Dick stuff is pretty pricy, I built a tank injector for less than the Dick unit costs.

went through 3 of the masterclass type ones, always split in the end, so got some which looked just the same off fleabay from china at a fraction of the cost thinking just replace them when they split or crack :D only to find the lookelikey ones were just that and didn't even seal around the o ring plunger as the main tubes were distorted so they went in the bin
then came across this one.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mr-Grill-Stainless-Marinade-Injector/dp/B00EF45AHU
all stainless no weak bits and still going strong, different build quality to the others i have had
wish i had bought this one first
