For anyone who thinks the Bradley Smoker isn't the most beautiful piece of kit:

It looks superb - but it still costs a lot to run - 1 disc every 20 mins - 48 discs for 25 (inc postage) - your smoke generator or soldering iron is a lot cheaper. :D

Im with you Dave it does look the dogs.

What a clever way of producing a Bradley (esk) type smoker but I bet that door is not light or easy to open!

I'll admit that it looks great but other than that, what do you gain for your 389? Mind I suppose you could make one for less.

Would this actually cold smoke with the 'smoke generator' in the position shown or would you need the smoke generator more remote from the barrel?

Given that the original in stainless steel is 340+ VAT I rather like it. But I'm sure the barrel only brings good looks to the party. Me, I'll stick with my ugly monster that runs on firewood :) Oh and you'd have to spoil the good looks with an extension hose for true cold smoking. Of course building your own is an option as the smoke generator on it's own is ~150 + VAT
