Converting a bradley to use all wood shapes and sizes

Converting a bradley to use all wood shapes and sizes

Whilst meandering through the www this lunch time I found a link that suggests a way to modify a Bradley to use other wood than the biscuits, looks like 2 tin cans sit on the heating element rather than the biscuits.

Look at the last paragraph on this page, there is a link to photos....

Looks like a very expensive way of doing the soldering iron and bean can method :D

But I guess if you already have a Bradley you can save yourself the 2.99 on a soldering iron...

I am still considering a Bradley, but have rather a lot of oak shavings and chips that would be nice to use.

I am considering the Bradley due to the ease of operation in "standard" biscuit form and the range of smoking temperatures possible.
