Amazing dry rub for bbq

Found this on the net. It appealed to me because of its simplicity. I usually only season my meat with salt and pepper, but thought I'd give this one a try, and I was surprised how well it went. It preserves the taste of the meat itself very well and is surprisingly balanced and subtle compared to many other rub recipes. Be aware that turmeric can give nasty yellow stains on plastic, clothes and hands that can be difficult to remove. This amount will be sufficient for 4 large steaks.
3 tbsp sea salt
1 tbsp mild paprika
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp cayenne pepper (or hot smoked paprika, or any dry hot chili of your choice)
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp coriander
Grind together. Rub meat just before barbecuing. Store leftovers in a tight jar.
