Interesting! What have you done for ventilation, if anything? Any concerns about outgassing from the particle board or melamine?

Eek...I wouldn't touch that with a long pole. That much finish wood and paint and such is bound to vaporize all kinds of badness into the air when the smoke hits it. Good plan, but I'd use completely untreated wood for safety's sake. Metal would be ideal, but definitely not cheap.

Hi,

actually no problems really, seems fine smells good, bacon good and salami good. No gassing remember it is cold smoke.

Also seemed fine without any vents.

I just checked and manually vented a few times.
