Ken Boy

It is OK to freeze the black puddings, I do it all the time. I must admit that people do love my black puddings, and these are the ones I freeze. They lose none of their taste or texture through freezing.

Hi Paul
Thankyou for infomation on freezing puddings most welcome!!
like you say when poeple find out that you make black pudding you all of a sudden have a lot of friends who would like to try it out!!
The only problem that I Came across was the size of the pan needed to cook them in on the stove I had to cut the casings down to fit my pan.
The next batch I will use a small fish kettle to boil them in.

Ken Boy,
I put my BP's in an oven pan half-filled with water at about 160C until cooked, I turned them over once during cooking.

Hi Heather
I have been busy making another batch of puds Next time I will try out your way of cooking them does the water need to boil for 1hr whilst cooking the puds. Why I ask I Was very close in letting the pan boil dry last time on the top of the stove But I just caught it in time!!!!   :P
