Argentine Asado... with wheels soft rolls

Postby denty632 » Sun Dec 25, 2016 5:37 pm

Just on holiday in Argentina and was invited to a Christmas Eve BBQ or asado. They asked if I could make some bread so I popped out some wheels soft rolls, they went down a treat

Are they my rolls? If they are, you're a better baker than I am.

I doubt that very much Phil but they area very well practised recipe in our house. Put them into a pizza tray and they come out just beautifully. Your recipe is very well travelled!

The Asado looks brilliant. Is it indoors?

Yes it is in a porch type area, not quite inside but certainly not outside. Many have full on chimneys, see below the image of our one at our house we're renting...

We're sitting eating these at the mo, not quite sure I'd ever get the recipe out if anyone

Sorry, completely off topic now but couldn't not post these last asado photos. This was our NYE BBQ photo. The BBQ was completely inside. The gas element is removeable and it then becomes a charcoal BBQ.
The piglet was simply to die for!!
