I bought one a while back and have be messing around with it for the last couple of weeks.
My main use is to control temps in my hot smoking cabinet, it replaces the standard oven stat I was using, I also tried it out as a fridge stat.
It is exceptionally accurate as an oven temperature controller, after it reaches the set temperature for the first time it learns the characteristics of the heating element.
I cooked 2 racks of ribs yesterday, the temperature didn't deviate from the set temperature throughout the whole cook.
As a fridge stat it deviates 1C which is pretty good.
I bought it on ebay from Hong Kong, cost 35 which included a 24a solid state relay & heat sink. I found the 1M thermocouple it came with too short so I bought a 3M jobbie again from Hong Kong cost 4.48.
