Self sufficiency by John Seymour.

Hi folks, called into my local library yesterday for the first time and saw John Seymour's Self sufficiency book. Unfortunately I didn't have my glasses with me :( . A friend let me borrow this book about 15 years ago when I first kept chickens. I found it very easy to read and quite informative. It covers everything from growing fruit and veg/keeping livestock/beer +wine making, bread/cheese etc. Anyway, just done a search for the book online and found it for sale @ £20.00 a copy   but then spotted this pdf version for free :D http://www.schoolofpreparation.com/libr ... ciency.pdf

I personally like the chicken ark, made from willow as I can get hold of loads of the stuff. Think I can feel yet another project coming on.
