My wife normaly uses bought sausage meat, hand rolled with a rasher of streaky bacon wrapped around and then stuck in oven until ready, then served up with the Christmas dinner.
Now I have my sausage maker, I have the notion of trying to spice it up a bit. I hate waste, so I would like to get them eatable first time. My mother was frightened by a Scot before I was born, hence wastage goes against the grain
We know that chestnut stuffing is very festive and can compliment the turkey. that is why we are thinking about using them in the sausage mix.
