Non Pork Sausages

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum so forgive me if this question has already been asked.

I have an intolerance to pork, and i am finding increaseingly hard to find sausages that don't contain pork or pork fat at the supermarkets.

I'm looking for advice on what to buy
eg the Complete sausage making kit that this site sales
and any more equipment to get started in making your own.

Plus any recipes for turkey, beef, lamb sausages.

and any pointers or tips as I haven't attemped sausage making before

Hi Sawk and welcome.

Have a look in the recipe part of the forum there are loads of recipies there for chicken, lamb and beef sausage.

This site is well versed in supplying those that are just starting up as well as the older hands. If you like give Franco and his team a ring and discuss your requirements with them, they are most helpful.

From a personal point of view, I started small and just grew from there (that is my waist line!) and believe me once you have made a couple of Lb and tasted the difference, there is no turning back. It is a VERY rewarding pastime and it is funny but your popularity seems to increase when you have a few sausages spare - funny that!

Strange, isn't it? I seem to have more friends now that I make sausages.
