Help - Lost Recipe

Postby edchef » Mon Jul 05, 2010 4:58 pm

I realise I am a total prat (according to my wife) but ,having made my first ever batch of sausages on Saturday, in the general excitement , I forgot to note where the recipe was located on the forum - such a shame as we both thought they were excellent!
It was a 'Lincolnshire ' style seasoning which consisted of the following:-
60% Salt
12% Cornflour
8.5% White pepper
4.5% Nutmeg
4.5% Coriander
10% Sage
Would somebody be so good as to locate it for me please?
I know - I ought to write it all down - I will in future
Many Thanks

Being right, only comes from being wrong.

Sort of funny Phil just posted this in another thread......,but I've been there and it is very disappointing.

when you make your own, weigh the spices accurately and keep good records - there's nothing worse than not being able to repeat the best sausage you've ever made!

Thanks for that Oddley -I did try searching but I think my search criteria were too wide!
Anyway, recipe and method are now duly noted ready for the next batch
