Kibbled Onion vs Dried Onion

Does anyone know if there's a difference between kibbled and dried onions and if so, is it possible to use dried as a substitute and in what quantities?

I don't know what you mean by kibbled. I use granulated onion in many places. It is a coarse powder. I use it as a spice in sausages, salad dressings, sauces, spice mixes etc. I would guess that 1 tbsp granulated onion is roughly equal to one fresh onion, but the taste is not the same so I wouldn't call it a substitute.

Kibbled onions are chopped and dried. Dried onions are chopped and dried. Same thing I reckon. I've used them successfully in sausages and burgers, especially burgers. I also use onion powder, but more for marinades.
