I was making some bangers for the BBQ and decided to add some grated beetroot to them. I also thought rather than make my ordinary ones, and refill with the bettroot mix, that I would just put one mix on top of the other (no big deal as the beetroot ones were exactly the same recipe as the others, just with beetroot.
I mistakely thought I would get ordinary sausages coming out, followed by beetroot sausages, instead I ended up with stripy sausages which were bright pink/purple on the top and pale ordinary pork colour on the bottom.

I don't think the beetroot changed the taste at all, but they sure look different!

I think we ate most of them on bbq, there may be a couple left to photo though.
