Constantinus Banned Sausage

Postby kookoobah » Mon Feb 01, 2010 1:09 pm

I read about this sausage that Constantinus banned because of it's pagan ties a long time ago. Is this the same sausage that the Romans had that had cumin, black pepper, bay leaf and white pine nuts? Does anybody have a decent recipe? I want to try it out.

This looks to be a well researched document on the subject:

I hope it helps, let us know how you get on.

Thanks Phil, this article was most interesting. I will try this out in a couple of months when I find the time / assemble all the necessary ingredients. :)
