To me there are 2 styles of hot dogs. The bologna kind (osker mayer) and the garlicky super smoked kind (Nathans famous).
I'm looking for a hot dog more on the Nathans famous side, but still maintains its meat flavor.
Has to have casing and a good deal of juice. People tend to make their dogs dryer than I would like.
I also like dogs made using mostly if not all pork.
