Pig's Feet

The local grocery has started getting pig's feet for the immigrant and old German population. I'm thinking to smoke them (the pig's feet that is), but any suggestions?

Are they whole or split?

If they're whole I do a combination cure...I inject a little brine and rub with dry cure.
If they're split, I dry cure them.
