I know, I know, it's just too much for me: that is, without asking Mrs Wheels to help. She'd have it done in no-time.

Amazing! The canteen at the civil nuclear site where I used to work had a long line of ex-RAF chefs, and the food was wonderful. Those who knew said it was recognisable from RAF bases worldwide. Some of those recipes seem to have crept across to the army.

ps Surely spit-roasting (volume 5) is a naval custom?

As an ex Navy man, what could possibly be better than those old favourites - Cheesy hammy eggy, babies heads, train smash & s*it on a raft ? :D
