Anyone got a recipe for "Russian Cake"
Seem to remember it was made up from left-over cake pieces and soaked with some sort of syrup and then iced.

I haven't got a recipe but found this which you may be able to improvise around.
Maybe there's an archive from Jo Lyons which can help, or try the Cheltenham source, they may have some info.
