Hi
if you buy "White Pepper" what do you expect?

I expected to find the ingredients list to say Pepper but found one the other day that said "Pepper, Rice flour"

my white pepper doesn't have an ingredients list. Someone posted (before the forum went crazy) that they thought the rice flour might be an anti-caking agent.

Yes 'twas me.
I couldn't think of any other purpose for it except maybe as a profit raising "filler".
Whatever it's there for, it's not necessary.

Buy whole peppercorns and grind them as you need them. You get a lot more flavour and you know there are no fillers.

I agree. That is much the better way to do things. White and black peppercorns are available from any spice house.
