I am in the market for a new cooker and would like to run a poll among fellow members on the most favoured type:
Gas, Electric with halogen hob, or electric with induction hob.
Or any other type.

Gas hob and electric oven.
If you do any kind of wok cooking the halogen and induction hobs forget.
Also if you have a induction hob you need to make sure that your pans are suitable.

Gas hob and electric oven has to be the way forward. Especially with these fancy new ovens these days.

I take your vote and raise it one induction hob.
ie gas hob, electric oven and supplementary single plate induction hob

Oh well, if we're spending for England, put me down for an induction hob.
...and raise it one sous-vide cooker!
