Tips and tecniques on dryng drying, curing etc.

I have made my first batch of hard salami. It looks and smells great. However the white mold that is growing on it is sticky. I was wondering if this is ok and I can leave it alone or do I need to wipe it off with distilled vinegar solution?

If it's white, leave it and it will harden up in a couple of weeks.
