Anyone got any idea of where to get hold of 150mm/6" or there abouts food grade plastic tube/pipe
I am looking to dabble into hard cheese making and want to make my own press but have drawn a blank trying to source any pipe:roll:
rest of the parts are no problem
seems most google searches come back with people using standard pvc type one which is not food grade

I don't personally think you'd have a problem using blue water pipe type PVC, not the ABS drainage which is black in color. But anyway google uPVC and you'll find white pvc that is unplastisized that may fit your need. One of the problems with the term food grade and PVC has a lot to do with the joint systems and adhesives used versus just a straight piece of pipe.
