Mascarpone meets Quark

Hi
made some Mascarpone yesterday
I followed the recipe and got something that has the texture of Quark and nearly the creaminess of Mascarpone.
It an't like ASDA's
Is there something I've done wrong or is this more what Mascarpone should be like
