After my last routine health check I was informed that I had a kidney problem in that my sodium level was a bit high.
I am looking for sodium alternatives, any offers?

I'm not sure about the lo-salt alternatives that have potassium chloride in as they may not be suitable for people with a kidney problem. It may be worth asking your doctor as I'd hate to give you the wrong advice.

Thanks Dave
As a matter of fact I was just reading a warning about potassium if you have a kidney problem.
I will wait and see the doc.

I'm sorry to hear that. Hope you can find an alternative.

Maybe try using fancy salts like Maldon or even fleur de sel. They taste saltier because of the mix of minerals in them - so you use less.

Try making up for salt with other flavour enhancers - chilli, pepper and lemon juice all help.
