Its a great under-story plant in an orchard .
Its deep roots dont compete with the surrounding fruit trees, they mine deep down for minerals and trace elements and bring them to the surface in their leaves which you then mulch.
Free fertiliser.
Im trying to grow as much as i can but it doesnt love the subtropics as much as cooler climates so I use cassava and sorrel as well.
yet to take the plunge still researching
