I used to freeze them chopped up.
Now I have tonnes of chillis sweet, hot and capsicums,rat poo ,jalepeno.
They grow like weeds in the subtropics
Even with neglect.
I will keep them going as long as possible,I have heard of ones almost becomeing trees.
My dad grows them in a temperate climate and he has experimented with pruneing and over wintering and also replanting from seed
The new plant over took the old ones and produced more fruit.
Dad dries them,pickles them,rosts them and freezes them too and freezes fresh ones cored and seeded.
