As somebody that has failed miserably to grow Coriander after trying every conceivable method (including hydroponicaly) I was interested in an old thread on this site about the problem.
Like others here I had no idea there were different types & just used to but coriander seeds from a local Asian market stall.
Anyway, for those interested there is a variety called "Leisure" that is supposed to be a more leafy variety.
I can't endorse it, as I've only just ordered it,but for anybody else that would like to give it a go you can get 50grs on e-bay for about four and a half quid, inc postage.
Just hope it works,as I just love coriander in a ruby-Mmmmmm :)

Glad to be of assistance.
Mine germinated well (in a heated greenhouse)
Planted on the surface of ordinary multicompost & pot covered with cling film until germination occured.
Only about an inch high ,so it will be a while before I get to sample it.

Coriander being what we call cilantro? I didn't know it didn't like cool temps, but I've heard it starts to bolt at any temperature the least bit hot.
