Lincolnshire Seasoning as a rub?

I'm going to try this next time I BBQ -

- but has anyone else tried any sausage seasonings as rubs?

I have some beef ribs I think I'll try it on.

You may want to adjust the salt?

Depends on this mix - but many are 70+% salt - so maybe less?

So would you increase the sugar so it sticks to whatever you are putting it on????
