Nice looking wood fired oven build. After building an oven yourself ...and using it yourself would you change anything if you were to build a 2nd WFO ?.

I built mine 2 years ago and I have just started my 2nd build. There are many things I will change on this Wood-fired oven/grill station.....here's the end of day1 of my new build...

OH MY GOD!! That looks fabulous :D You say second build, does that mean you are replacing or adding to the original?

Hey Dave and Wheels.....I always appreciate all your comments.

This build is for my boss. He spent a couple of days with a couple of guys repairing my roof.....This will be like for like in man hours although somehow I think he will be the winner in this barter scheme.

L/H side (arch) will have a marble worktop....casting, honing and polishing it myself. Middle arch will have the Wood-fired oven over it (brick Pompeii build)..the R/H arch will have an integrated grill/BBQ.

....shall post more pics as it progresses...if it's OK with you.

Terry

p.s........really delighted how many people have viewed my "Porchetta di Testa"

been reading the forums with great interest and this thread is one i can actually contribute to.

I have built one a few yrs back , the most important part is the fire bricks
with mine i also designed it with a floating slab for the oven itself and then an external wall so no one can burn their hands by touching the outside.

i also set mine up with a electric rotisserie so i can do a few roasts etc when im cooking the pizzas.

Hello fandtm666

Great looking Grill station......and a beautiful Wood-fired oven.

I always like seeing the scorchmarks on the exterior arch.....it shows a good honest hard working oven.
