Jenny

Where are the cooling/oven racks from - they would be great for my smoker if I can get the right size. :D

Phil

Wheels,

They are the oven racks from an old oven I had. I kept all the shelves for cooling racks. Have a look in your local recycling/tip, there's a stack of old cookers in our one. I'm sure they would let you have the shelves out of them.

Thanks Jenny
It's very difficult finding ones with a criss-cross of wires, they're better for fillets of fish etc.

Maybe something like this wheels -

There seems to be suppliers to the medical industry who make useful shelving.

Thanks but, sorry, that would cost more than the smoker! I'll keep 'sniffing' around the waste bins - I might even try a 'Wanted' on Freecycle.
Apologies to mods, I've done it again and gone 'off topic'.

Did someone mention Topic? I thought they got renamed to Snickers.

Hmmm...

Sorry, where were we?

I've not had a Marathon/Snickers for ages, although I would prefer a Topic instead!

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but as I got a Kitchen Aid for Christmas and I am looking at buying the grain milling attachment I thought I would ask if anybody has this attachment for Kitchen Aid, and how they find it in use??

I'm looking to get some grain from here .. it is about as local as I can get.

Any tips??

Sorry also to resurrect an old thread, but I recently took delivery of an order from the company that Mike D highlighted in the previous post. Fantastic quality grain. I'm posting a picture of the loaf I made from a recent grind.(when I can remember how to do it!)

Thanks Mike.

Cheers
