Third attempt, in case anyone is interested, to post a foolproof recipe for sourdough starter. Provided by Dan Lepard.

Very odd that, your text was clearly visible in editing mode, but invisible on the forum.

Thank you for your persistence in getting it to us, thank you and well done.

Here's one of your previous attempts just so you know it wasn't you getting it wrong :)

"Not sure what happened first time, but anyway, here's a link to a recipe for great sourdough starter - easy to make, and strong enough to rise in the fridge, several times, before baking

The recipe is available on the BBC website here [url]http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/womanshour/food/recipe222.shtml[url]

Good luck"

Guess what, I just tried to comment on and quote one of your invisible posts and my post is now invisible

I'll cut and paste into notepad and post it again...

Hopefully this will have worked:

Your posts seem to work if you turn off HTML and BBCode

The problem was that the [url] tags were making all text were making all text invisible on the post ie

[url]http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/womanshour/food/recipe222.shtml[url]

I disabled HTML in this post so you could see it.

By taking them out of your post in Wheels sour Doh! thread, that post is now visible. A software glitch that needs looking into, sorry...

Not a software glitch but a human one.
the url bit at the end of the link should have a slash in front of it like this: [/url]
I have edited your last but one post Dave and it works..
