Casing getting loose during hang drying

Postby KingEyeball » Thu Jan 17, 2019 9:08 pm

Hey Guys!! Noob here!

I have a couple of Ndjuas hanging in my kitchen to dry. As the days are progressing they are getting loose in the casing like the casing isn’t staying tight as it reduces in moisture.

What am I doing wrong what can I do to fix it!?

Thanks in advance!

Artificial casings?
They need to soak at least 45min in lurke warm water before stuffing.
Else they wont "bond" with the filling and tend to lose grip during drying.

I did that in my last batch.
Needed one more case than i had soaked and look what i got.
