Large Blacks

Happy days, I've just been pig shopping!

Finally getting my own weaners - so looking forward to turning these cuties into sausages at the end of the summer/early autumn

What weight will they get to? What is their temperament like? Will they have a place to forage?

If I slaughter as porkers/6 months then should dress out at 65kg, and hopefully 90kg+ as baconers/9 months
Large blacks have a lovely temperament and are fairly docile - as a rule if they've got floppy ears then they are less likely to escape.
Will be extensively reared outside on half an acre with oak trees along one of the margins.
Will start off feeding them on commercial feed, adding garden waste (not kitchen waste), beets and apples from the orchard as the season progresses
