Bacon & Prague Cures - does it go off?

My bacon cure has gone yellow and lumpy - does this stuff have an expiry date? I'm assuming it is still OK to use.

Do the prague cures have a finite shelf-life too?

Hi Aris

We give our cures 12 months shelf life if kept in sealed bags in a dry place.
It sounds as if you have got yours damp which would make it go lumpy, I suggest that you skip it & buy some fresh

Aris, It's not the smokey one by any chance is it?
The smoke powder used in this cure is VERY sensitive to moisture.

No, it is the plain one. I used it anyhow - we'll see in a couple of days how the bacon comes out.
