Ive been having some difficulties posting photos which I have in the main resolved but I noticed while I was faffing about that if I clicked on the photo then it displayed in Photobucket.

Similar here. Just loaded some pics to photo-bucket and when I tried to post them here they would show as the url number code rather than displaying the pic. Clicked on the code and it took me back to photobucket ! Managed to download a couple but not all, so got frustrated and binned the idea.....

To insert the image just go the the 'Links to share this photo' section on the right hand side of the Photobucket page. Click the one called 'IMG'. And then paste it here. Don't add any 'tags' ; they're already done for you.

This will look like this:

Hi Phil, i was doing it the way you said, but what seems to be happening now is after placing the pic in the thread, if you click on it, it will take you back to photobucket, whereas before it didn't - any suggestions ?

It's the URL tags either side of the IMG that does this. If you look above at the code, the text between the IMG tags is what displays the image:

Displays as:



In the other example this code is embedded between URL tags with the details of the Photobucket page; this turns the whole Image into a link to that page.
