Wickes flexible aluminium ducting (smoker chimney)

Whats your opinion
The wife just wandered in having nipped in for some bits & pieces for repair, having bought some of thishttp://www.wickes.co.uk/aluminium-ducting/invt/713024/...(spec & pic)
Anyone used it for ad-hoc smokers, presumably it's got more going for it than a plastic & wire floppy tumbledrier hose for use as a chimney vent for my csg till I sort a decent casing?

I'm simply thinking more stack self support stability, over a maximum extension of up to 4 metres stretch capability from box to outside ?

(I hve plenty of woodstove flue I can use when set up with something less slapdash (time lacking currently).

(don't wish to open the packet & find out I shouldn't use it for some reason, in case they are iffy on returns).

I used that when I first made a smoker. The trouble with the stuff I got was that it wasn't self-supporting.

I found the pipe sold as 'semi-rigid' much better. I got mine from a local air-con firm, which avoided the postage that online firms charge. It cost about £20.

Thanks, I'll get a refund on it & carry on as is for now, dents / rips easily compared to my s/steel 316 twin wall,
..which sadly doesn't stand well on a cardboard box without consequences.

I rinsed out a smoke stained vessel to see if I could make smoke powder and placed the gorgeous chestnut coloured solution into an aluminium foil tray to dry out. It ate it's way out through the bottom of the tray
