The pies - the pies !

Just come across this newspaper article on a local pie shop in my home town. Hope the business continues, would be a real shame to lose them.

I like the b&w photo of the local bobby stopping the queue from obstructing the pavement, shows how popular those pies were ! Sounds like they average about 5000 pies a week - that's good going for a little corner shop.

Funnily enough, unlike Melton Mowbrays, these pork pies are normally eaten hot/warm which can be a bit messy seeing as the stock won't be set...Lets see if Brican can get a franchise for the ex-pats in Canada and save the pies !!!
