Been in Seattle for thanksgiving, my first visit there, must say its a very nice city with wonderful food though quite expensive, my morning walk brought me to Cupcake Royal on Pine st, great Coffee and on the second visit i discovered Bacon cookies :D oh dear, delish.

Pike's place market, yes a tourist trap but very tasty offerings, Lox on a bagel with red onion and capers couldn't be passed by without tasting a sample, Boerewors (my first taste) with other "walking sausages" as they called them (to eat as you walk along i was told) were not to be missed, fresh sausage galore, $2 per small link i gave them a pass.

Bought some Hot smoked salmon, nice but at $27/lb i think ill give it a try myself.

Best bite there? Cheddar cheese & Garlic roll fresh from the oven at Piroshky Piroshky. oh boy, these alone were worth the 12 hr 1 way drive.

Next time you go you might want to try Salumi for a porchetta sandwich (pro tip - get in line at 10:15, they open at 11:00). Il Corvo is a few blocks away for a pasta lunch and Rain Shadow Meats is nearby as well.
