SuperK here, moved to the Big Island of Hawaii almost 4 years ago and we are loving most every minute of it. Like most really beautiful places, the Vacation hype is mostly that, just hype. To offset the high supermarket prices here we are raising our own livestock. Poultry so far, but other large animals will be added soon. BBQ is a must and Luaus, and we have just started into the fray that is sausage making. Looking forward to gleaning many tidbits of wisdom.
