All good here in the Touraine, it’s been a bit hot though! Still home produce as much as I can, and as ‘him indoors’ has now retired he is keen to give a hand with sausages etc.
Silver queen corn, yellow stripper cherokee purple tomatoes, peaches, zucchini and figs. The figs are being made into jam. The corn will show up at lunch today.
From my garden, I've been getting mostly red bell peppers called "Marconi". I roast these until blackened then remove the skin and seeds. Eggplants and Lima beans are coming along; I think I'll plant fall stuff soon.
