Merry Christmas To all

What are you doing for Christmas?

This is how our Christmas goes.

Christmas Eve

Christmas starts for us on Christmas eve my daughters are going to a restaurant when they return they are throwing a cocktail party.

Christmas Day

Wake up with a hangover about 8 am. Have tea and we then all open the presents. Make a breakfast of fresh fruit tagliatelle which is pancakes cut into ribbons mixed with cubed fresh fruit drizzled with raspberry coolee to set us all up for the day.

About 3pm we start Lunch or would it be Dinner of

1st course: various cured meats and salads

2nd Course: King prawn salad with homemade sauce.

main: Organic bronze turkey served with stuffing, sausages wrapped in bacon, roast potatoes, roast turnips, various vegetables and homemade gravy.

Dessert: Homemade Trifle made with Trifle cakes, Strawberry jelly filled with fresh fruit then fresh cream and vanilla custard topped with fresh whipped cream and crushed malteasers. heart attack stuff but only twice a year.

5th course a cheese board of good mature English cheddar, stilton and camembert. served with fresh slices of pear and apple also crackers.

Various wines served throughout the meal.

It sounds an awful lot but is served in small amounts

Then we will party.

Merry Christmas to all.......

are you still running on time oddley as it sounds a good one, I'll be round about 3

Just put our rib of angus beef in the oven and can smell it already, and have unwrapped the charcuterie book as well so it looks to be a good year coming up
